Was disappointed with this "2.5" version of the Ronin trilogy. I eagerly bought it after reading the series, expecting it to be another full-length novel. It was, at best, about 30 pages long. It fills in a bit of backstory that had been notably missing in Volume 3 (a couple head-scratcher references to things that had happened "offstage" during the story.) It was almost as if the author had pulled these pages out just to milk another book sale out of the trilogy. Disappointing; the text should have been simply included in Books 2 and/or 3.Product details

The Ronin and the Green Maiden Volume 25 of the Ronin Trilogy Travis Heermann Books Reviews
Great.
One of my favorite good guys. Read the whole series!
Having already written to Travis Heermann whining that he HAD to do more books featuring Ken'ishi, I could hardly pass on his latest addition to the series even though it weighs in at less than 40 pages. I hardly expected a retelling of "Sir Gawain and the Green Knight," however! An interesting venture that I personally feel is unworthy of Heermann's other achievements But it is an interesting tale and I dare say you might enjoy this version more than the original.
